With the integration of the online payment service Stripe, the booking process for customers is convenient, as various payment methods (credit card, SEPA, Sofort, etc.) can be used for direct payment. Additionally, Stripe also facilitates the administration and management of bookings and incoming payments.
Why reinvent the wheel and not just purchase an existing online booking system?
Although the market offers a variety of often very good booking systems, we decided on an in-house development. The decisive reason for this was the lack of some needed features and the lack of adaptability of the available products to the existing business process. Standard software would have meant compromises regarding functionality, design, and integration. Additionally, standard systems incur monthly fees that would accumulate to significant costs in the long run – an aspect we were able to avoid through our in-house development.
