Grisu NÖ - iOS and Android app for fire department operations

Features are deployment statistics or an interactive map for water withdrawal points (hydrant map). If the user is a member of a Lower Austrian fire department that uses the info screen from WASTL (Warning and Alarm Levels List NÖ – Fire Department Krems), an extended deployment data mode can be activated. Once the mode has been successfully activated, detailed time and location information, additional deployment descriptions, the name of the reporter and reporter's phone number, and a response function (coming / not coming to deployment) are available in addition to the deployment details.

Open Source and for a Good Cause

The project was developed a few years ago by our managing director Alexander Gassner - a fire department member himself - free of charge in his spare time. The project is available under the MIT license.
